Restylane Treatment in San Diego
Text: Restylane Injections Mitchel Goldman, MD.
Dr. Goldman: We’re first going to treat the nasal labial group and it’s important to do beneath the epidermis and we withdraw as we inject. Always going medial to the nasal labial group. Filling up the marionette lines. And treating the upper and lower lip I like to go into the vermilion border and try to have the Restylane track along. Open a little and we then massage to get the Restylane to kind of hit nicely at the vermilion border. The upper lip is the same. We try to get the Restylane to track along the vermilion border and that smoothes out the lines to prevent lipstick from running in. We always try to put a little bit more right at the central part of lower lip. Take a teeny little bit of a pout. Then we finish the upper lip. To maintain this pretty Cupid’s bow I don’t like to put Restylane in this area. I just like to maintain that. And now we’ll go and treat the other nasal labial group. Again going medial. We then like to message medial to make sure there is no lumpiness and that the Restylane follows medial to the nasal labial fold. Now close your mouth Vicki.
